You must be 18 years old to join as a
member.

While doing an official investigation
under ABGHS guidelines no minors (<18 years old) will be permitted to
attend an investigation.

Prior to filming or investigating a
private or public site, members will obtain the proper permission from
the owners or caretakers of the site.

All ABGHS members will be respectful of
the property and not debase the subject property in any way.

Members will conduct themselves in a
responsible and appropriate manner at all Society events, meetings and
investigations.

The disbursement of information
regarding an investigation for public review will be allowed after the
investigative report and all evidence has been reviewed and signed off
by three ABGHS Certified Paranormal Investigators or by review of the
Board members of the Society. To disburse to the public any information
a signed release form must be on file with and verified by the ABGHS
main office.

Society members will be respectful of
one and another and of the various ideas offered during an
investigation.

Drinking alcoholic beverages and smoking
during an investigation is strictly forbidden. Alcohol will deaden your
senses and smoking will make it nearly impossible for you or other team
members to recognize any smells that may accompany a haunting.

While on a battlefield investigation you
will follow all National Park Service rules and regulations. You must be
respectful of other visitors and their rights to enjoy the battlefield.
All battlefields are hallowed ground, so treat them with due respect.
