PATRICK BURKE
ABGHS President and Founder
Wolf Pack Team Leader
Patrick has been a
student of the paranormal for more than 35 years, and a teacher for over
five years. As a child growing up in a haunted house, Patrick began to
develop an interest in things which are not of this world. Patrick’s
background and interest in history has laid the groundwork for his career
as an investigator and educator. He believes all investigators should
learn to use and respect their own intuition. Patrick's technique, the
Intuitive Science Method of Investigation, combines the
strongest elements of both science and intuition and has proven to be very
successful.
Patrick begins his investigations by
thoroughly researching a battle before utilizing recording equipment on
the battlefield. His knowledge of the battle, combined with his intuition
and organized scientific approach have provided ABGHS with documented
video and audio proof of life after death.
As president and
co-founder of the American Battlefield Ghost Hunters Society,
Patrick has been featured on The Lou Pate Show and on 710 A.M. KIRO
News Radio. He has also been a feature speaker for Ghosts of
Gettysburg and Maryland Paranormal Investigators Coalition and a guest
lecturer at the prestigious Washington College, as well as many community
organizations. His most recent book, A Guide to Battlefield Ghost
Hunting, will be available in paperback soon, and is used as
the textbook for the Society's Classes and Seminars. He is the content co-editor
of the ABGHS web site
www.americanbattlefield.com and a
contributing writer for the Society's newsletter, The Muster.
Patrick lives with
his wife and two girls in Golden Beach, Maryland.

DARRYL "SMITTY" SMITH
ABGHS Co-founder and

Wolf Pack Member
As a professional engineer, Smitty
puts the “Stephen Hawking” into ABGHS. He ensures our group is
technologically savvy, with the latest advanced equipment and usage
methodology. Smitty believes in applying the scientific method to his
study and continually endeavors to find tangible data of reported
paranormal activity. As the “Scully” of the team, he trusts no one and
focuses his efforts on creating new and better ways to legitimize
(already) valid evidence.
As co-founder of ABGHS, Smitty’s
“captain’s log” proudly exhibits over 500 field hours and hundreds of
production room hours evaluating footage.
Much of the

John Burke
ABGHS
Co-founder and Sensitive
Wolf Pack Member
Also known as Lazarus, John has died multiple times
and remembers his experiences with much clarity. As a result, John has
become increasing more sensitive and is able to practice the Intuitive
Science Method of ghost hunting with outstanding results.
John is an avid reader and an expert on historical hauntings as well as
many psychics and their theories. John is also a student of Civil
War history and has conducted research on skirmishes and the lives of
soldiers who have served their cause as raiders and spies.
Throughout his career, John has always been an
entrepreneur, gaining experience in different fields with a wide range of
personalities. Perhaps it is John's ability to relate to people as
individuals which draws spirits to him. Perhaps his high regard for those
who marched before us helps spirits embrace him, when others have failed.
Nonetheless, John's approach to investigations has added greatly to the
success of ABGHS.

Edward
Dubil, Jr.
ABGHS Certified Paranormal Instructor/Investigator
Ed Dubil, Jr. is co-Founder, along with his father, Ed
Sr., of White Dog Ghost Chasers in Northeast Pennsylvania. They have been
investigating paranormal anomalies for 8 years including many of the
state's coal mining areas that saw the abrupt deaths of many an early coal
miner.
Ed has become well known for the use of his dog,
Brutus, during investigations. Their investigations have included
Chancellorsville, Spotsylvania, Antietam, and Gettysburg. Brutus is used
as a sort of medium. Through his research, Ed has discovered that many
Union and Confederate units had dogs as mascots. Ed’s theory is that,
because of their comfort level with dogs, spirits of long dead soldiers
communicate through Brutus.
One instance of this phenomenon occurred on the
Gettysburg Battlefield. Ed, his father and Brutus were in the near
vicinity of a monument dedicated to the 11th PA Infantry who had a pit
bull named "Sallie" for a mascot. The dog was killed in action at
Hatcher's Run in 1865. As they approached, Brutus’ ears perked and his
body tensed as if he was called. Later, EVP evidence revealed a soldier’s
voice whistling for a dog and saying, “Here, boy.”
In 1999 Ed founded of the Northeast Chapter of the
Spirit Society of Pa. He is also The American Battlefield Ghost Hunters
Society Commander of the PA Light Artillery Reserves, Battery C.
