Battlefields

Antietam

Gettysburg

East Cemetery Hill

This is an EVP that was captured on video which we call “The Death Wail”. It is heard on 2 occasions.

Fredericksburg

Innis House

Kitchen Yell

In this session, Patrick Burke, John Burke and Laine Crosby felt a presence of an energy in the kitchen; Michael Hartness was videotaping. John is describing how the energy is affecting
him, he is uncomfortable and so is Laine as she responds to the scream of the ghost. Listen to the "howl” after John says, “my arms.”

Sunken Road - Confederate Rifle fire and voices

Present are Patrick Burke, Michael Confederate rifle Hartness and Darryl Smith. Patrick is doing an EVP session and asking the energies to allow us to record what the battle sounded like during the 1862
battle of Fredericksburg. Just after Patrick says, “…the Rebel Yell or the Union Hurrah would you share that with us now?” You will hear the sounds of musketry fire, starting with a single shot, then a volley fire and then independent fire at will. Some of the phenomena occurs while the question is being asked.

Chancellorsville

Hazel Grove

Patrick captured this on his Olympus Digital Recorder, model #VN3600. Mark Nesbitt is asking the Ghost Soldiers™ to
give us a Rebel Yell. A bodiless voice whispers “I can’t” on Patrick’s recorder, Mark’s recorder did not pick up anything. This EVP session was at a Union position that was over-run by the Confederates.

Spotsylvania

East Bloody Angle Unknown Soldier

At this location, Cindy Smithson, the Investigative Medium is standing next to Patrick Burke as he is asking the question. Cindy felt the presence of an Unknown Soldiers possible gravesite. This is an incredibly clear EVP, you will hear the ghostly voice giving a name after Patrick asks the question.

Historic Sites

Dr. Mudd House

Needwood Mansion

Unknown male voice and howl

You will hear John, Smitty and
Karen Mitchell talking in front of
the house before going in. You
will hear a man’s voice say,
“excellent” and just after John
says, “that could be bad” you
hear a howl.

Dog Whining

Patrick and Laine are on a couch
in the entrance hall of the mansion. Smitty is taking notes and readings as Laine and Patrick felt a presence come near them. Kurt Schmidt is working the walking camcorder. Laine starts talking to the ghost who is George Robinson. Patrick heard a dog whine and asked Smitty if he heard something. He replied yes, which is amazing as Smitty is not "sensitive" at all!

Patrick in Classroom

Patrick was greeting the students
as they came into the classroom.
As Patrick is saying hello you will
hear a male voice whisper, “get
out!” This happens twice, once at
the beginning and another time
near the end of the recording. I
have amplified the 2 places
where the ghost says, “get out!”

Port Tobacco

Little Girl Calling for her Daddy

This EVP was captured as Patrick was banging his tape recorder. Here is a little tip for you…make sure your VOX control switch is off before trying to capture EVP! You will hear a
banging noise and then the little girl calling for her daddy.

Man and woman voices

3 men are present, John Burke,
Patrick Burke and Harry Weaver
(ABGHS Member). Patrick and
Harry are talking about a man and a woman whose gravestones they are reading. You will hear Harry say, “Here’s is one Thomas Tilfer,” Patrick replies, “Yeah, 1862, he was…” A man’s voice says, “Never mind.” Immediately following a woman’s voice says, “We heard ya’.”
